Welcome to Science this October Half-Term

Posted 13 Oct, 2022

Bring the whole family to Jodrell Bank this October half-term to a ‘space’ of wonder and curiosity.

With a fantastic programme of events, Jodrell Bank is the perfect place for family-friendly fun. Whether it’s being wowed by the universe in our space-dome, seeing the magnificent telescope up close on a walking tour, or asking our expert scientists your burning questions about space, there’s something for everyone!

Enjoy our Astronomy Photographer of the Year exhibition, which features awe-inspiring images of the skies. See our new First Light exhibition which tells the story of the history and heritage of this iconic site.  Journey through the night sky in our new immersive Space Dome, and don’t miss our new film We Are Stars , which will take you on a journey of discovery to our cosmic origins.

In addition, we’ll be running an autism-friendly early-opening session where there will be a chill out room, reduced noise in our exhibition spaces; and a relaxed viewing in our Space Dome.

Join us for what’s set to be an enjoyable and inspiring line-up of events…
