Book your Key Stage 1 visit to Jodrell Bank

School visits require a minimum of 15 students. Efforts are made to accommodate smaller groups, but this is subject to availability.

Prices: £12 per student, £15 per adult
Key Stage 1 groups receive 1 free adult ticket for every 6 students tickets.
Adults providing 1:1 support to students with additional needs are also welcomed free of charge.
Key Stage 1 visits are scheduled to start at 10am and finish at 2pm. Visits are self-led, and we will send an itinerary 1-week before the visit allocating times in each of the galleries. We recommend downloading our exhibition worksheets to help students gain more from the exhibits.
During the visit, you will have a Space Dome Show and an on-gallery talk presented by our Explainers. In the Space Dome, the group will have a planetarium-style show learning about the Sun, the Moon, and planets in our Solar System. The on-gallery talk is about Jodrell Bank and Telescopes, and involves demonstrations.
A visit schedule will approximately be as follows:
- 10am arrival
- Space Dome Show
- Lunch (an indoor eating area will be provided)
- Time to explore exhibitions + on-gallery talk
- 2pm departure
