A different kind of radio wave: Jodrell Bank hosts Doves album party
Posted 28 Feb, 2025
Is there anything better than enjoying your favourite music beneath the stars?
Jodrell Bank is known for its cutting-edge science, but it’s also a “spiritual home” for musicians, too! We were thrilled to host local band Doves and their fans for an exclusive listen to their latest album, Constellations for the Lonely, paired with an out-of-this-world planetarium show in our very own Space Dome.
It was particularly inspiring to learn how Jodrell Bank has influenced the band’s music over the years, as well as the role our iconic Big Dish has played in their creative process.
Thank you to all who came along – we hope you had as much fun as we did!
