CCTV Privacy Policy

Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement operates on-site CCTV, including around the entrances and both inside and outside some of its buildings. If you visit Jodrell Bank, we will likely capture CCTV footage of you. This privacy notice explains what information we process as part of our CCTV network.

Who is responsible for your information?

Jodrell Bank Centre for Engagement is part of The University of Manchester. The University of Manchester is the Data Controller and is responsible for any personal information (such as CCTV footage) that we may collect about you.

The footage we record is used for the prevention and detection of crime and to protect public safety.

Where fixed CCTV cameras are operating, signs will be clearly displayed.

Safeguards are in place to ensure that this data is kept secure and the privacy of individuals is protected.
