From 18-21 July, we welcomed thousands of bluedotters back to Jodrell Bank for another packed celebration of science, music, art and discovery.
This year’s festival took place on the 50th anniversary of the legendary Apollo 11 mission that landed the first humans on the Moon and a host of big name music acts and inspirational scientists and thinkers celebrated with us in style under the giant Lovell Telescope.
“Although only in its fourth year, Bluedot already feels like an essential summer fixture, a family-friendly carnival of music, science and outdoor art held in a visually stunning location that gained Unesco world heritage status two weeks ago.” **** THE TIMES
“Here, science is as culturally celebrated as music, which makes for an endearing, unique mix of people and their passions” **** THE GUARDIAN
We want to take the opportunity to thank all our many speakers and exhibitors who made this year’s festival so special, and of course, to all those that attended and partied with us here at Jodrell Bank. We can’t wait to welcome you all back again next summer…
