The Shared Sky exhibition stems from a vision by the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) to bring together under one sky Aboriginal Australian and South African artists to celebrate humanity’s ancient cultural wisdom. This vision embodies the spirit of the international science and engineering collaboration that is the SKA project itself, bringing together many nations around two sites in Australia and South Africa to study the same sky.

Shared Sky Arts and Crafts
11am – 4pm

Come along and create your own artwork inspired by the Shared Sky exhibition. Whether you enjoy creating pictures of stars or other celestial objects there will be the opportunity for you to create your own picture to display over the seasonal period.

Shared Sky is presented by the International Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project and sponsored by the SKA Organisation, SKA South Africa and SKA Australia.

Shared Sky was developed in collaboration with the Yamaji Art Centre in Geraldton, Western Australia and the First People Centre at the Bethesda Arts Centre in Nieu Bethesda, South Africa.
