Tim Peake is the first Brit to be selected by the European Space Agency for their astronaut corps. Currently undergoing his intensive training, Tim flew to the International Space Station in December 2015 and is spending six months living and working aboard it.

Jodrell Bank is working with colleagues from the Association of Science and Discovery Centres, the Science Museum and the National Space Centre to create an interactive science show, a series of schools workshops and a selection of other activities about Tim’s incredible journey, from training to orbit.

The science show will run during the October 2015 and February 2016 half term school holidays here at Jodrell Bank. It will also run at ten other science centres around the country between October 2015 and February 2016. The schools workshops will be for KS1, KS2 an KS3 and will be available from January 2016. We will also be running various other events linked to Tim Peake’s mission throughout the rest of 2015 and 2016.
