Wednesday 18th January, Tuesday 28th February, Wednesday 29th March.
7:30pm – 9pm.
We’re delighted to be running our popular Astrophotography Nights again this winter and to meet increased demand, we’re holding three sessions.
Each evening is the same, and will be an informal and fun session including an Introduction to Astrophotography workshop (co-presented by Dr. Ant Holloway and our own in-house staff), along with a chance for you to try out your equipment, talk to our knowledgeable team, and meet like-minded people.
You’ll learn how to use your DSLR or Compact System Camera to get started in Astrophotography, and discover how you can use simple equipment such as a tripod, to capture different images of the night sky, from planets and constellations to the colours of stars and star trails. You’ll also be able to look at additional equipment you can use to expand the range of images you make.
No previous knowledge required. Wear a warm coat and bring a flask!
Booking essential. Tickets are just £22.00 (£20 concessions).
Please note that tickets are non-refundable.
The Planet Pavilion Cafe will be open for pre-event dining from 6pm and we’ll be serving the following delicious and warming winter dishes for just £7.50 each.
Menu for Wednesday 29th March:
- Penne pasta, tomato rague, meatballs
- Cauliflower, spinach and potato, steamed rice (v)
